12th International IUPAC Conference on
High Temperature Materials Chemistry (HTMCXII)
September 17 - 22, 2006, Vienna / Austria
HTMC XII will be the 12th meeting in a series of conferences which are held every three years. The conference will be held for the second time in Vienna. The meeting will take place at the Technical University of Vienna from September 17 to 22, 2006, beginning with a get-together party at the conference site.
The chairmen of the meeting will be Adolf Mikula and Herbert Ipser from the University of Vienna and Ulrich Schubert from the Vienna University of Technology.
The scope of the conference will focus on new developments of High Temperature Chemistry in various fields of material science.
IUPAC sponsorship implies that entry visas will be granted to all bona fide chemists provided application is made not less than three months in advance. If a visa is not granted one month before the meeting, the IUPAC Secretariat should be notified without delay by the applicant.
The conference will include plenary lectures (35 + 5 min) and contributed papers.
The contributed papers will be accepted as oral presentations (15 + 5 min) or posters. The final decision about the acceptance of a paper as an oral contribution or as a poster will be made by the Local Organizing Committee.
The conference language is English.
